The Perfect Spot is a very thin, neodymium magnet that can be attached to any smooth, nonporous surface such as your sewing machine, table or other items. The nano tape adhesive on the back allows it to be moved multiple times without leaving any residue. If the tape loses it's tackiness just wash/dry and it will be sticky again. I've attached my gold logo sticker to the front to make it beautiful.
Magnets are safe for computerized sewing machines. It's been said it would take a magnet the size of an automobile to damage a machine. If you're still leery you can attach the magnet to another smooth surface close to your machine.
