Beautiful Wholecloth Design by Anna Csurke!

Anna Csurke is one of my Craftsy students and she and I correspond back and forth quite a bit on her special projects.  She recently acquired the Ultimate Borders and Ultimate Shapes and sent me a sketch of the 18" wholecloth quilt she will be creating with those.  She gave me permission to share with all of you! For the center medallion she used the 8" and 4" Ultimate Shape. Photo Updates of Linen Quilts

I finished up my teaching year for the Columbia River Quilt Guild in Hood River, Oregon.  My room was overlooking the Columbia River and I managed to catch two beautiful sunrises.  This was the ONLY sun I saw for four days! My "down time" in the hotel room was spent diligently pecking away at beading and burying threads on my current quilts.  I thought it was about time I got updated photos posted on these!    I have a deadline of next March to get all three of these finished for an upcoming exhibit.   \    I'm not showing...

Beautiful Article by Regina Brett

Last September I was holding my September retreat in McCloud, California and we had the pleasure of a visitor by the name of Regina Brett.  Little did I know she was a famous author but more importantly she was a quilter "way back when" and hadn't sewn for many years.  She came to McCloud for a spiritual retreat with Sarah Weiss and just happened to stumble across our retreat. BRAND NEW! "Ala Carte" Stencils Now Available!

My two 20-stencil sets of Ultimate Backgrounds and Ultimate Borders have been sold in "complete sets" and are a bit on the pricey side.  Stencils are not cheap  and they are expensive for me to have made.    I've received requests from students, quilting instructors and on-line customers to offer the stencils in separate, smaller packages and I think it's a GREAT idea!
